AIGA Always Summer Poster Show
This poster was designed for AIGA Jacksonville's Always Summer poster show, which encourages designers to choose their favorite summer song and design a poster based on the lyrics. I chose the song "Iko Iko" by the Belle Stars and illustrated the line: "See that guy all dressed in green...Iko iko an nay...He's not a man, he's a loving machine...Jockomo feena nay..." The poster is hand-watercolored, torn paper, scanned in and combined with image and type in Photoshop. The final poster is 2 x 3 feet.
