In February 2013, AIGA Jacksonville hosted its annual event I Love Design, in which we invited Louise Fili to speak and promote her new book, Elegantissima. For the promo piece, we wanted to give out a sketchbook to all attendees, so for the cover I decided to combine the idea of love with something that would represent Louise. The two sides of the heart overlap to form a pen nib, representing her calligraphy. Handwritten type was done by Jim Ward.
